Frequently Asked Questions

What are your fees?

Therapy is an investment in your emotional well-being and personal growth. My fee reflects the time, care, and depth of attention I bring to each session, as well as my ongoing commitment to training to support our work together.

Individual session (50 minutes): $225

Individual session (70 or 90 minutes): Contact me to discuss.

Group therapy (75 minutes): $75

I offer limited sliding scale for those who are eligible. Please contact me and I would be happy to discuss further.

Do you accept insurance?

At this time, I do not directly bill any insurance plans. I can, however, provide you with a superbill to submit to your insurance provider for potential reimbursement. I use Thrizer to help with reimbursements.

Most PPO plans offer some type of Out of Network reimbursement.

Here are some questions to ask your insurance provider to find out about mental health coverage:

  • Do I have mental/behavioral health coverage?

  • If so, what will be covered for an out-of-network provider? (They will likely give you a percentage per session)

  • How many sessions will be covered per calendar year?

  • What is my deductible and has it been met?

  • What is the easiest way to submit for reimbursement?

How long does therapy last?

This depends on what you are looking for when you come to therapy. My approach is focused on getting to the root of your challenges, which often takes time and depth rather than quick fixes. Many clients choose to stay in therapy longer term, as building a close, trusting relationship is a central part of the work and allows for meaningful, lasting change. That said, we move at a pace that feels right for you, and your goals always guide the process.

How do I decide if it’s the right time for therapy?

I suggest you set up a free consultation so we can briefly discuss what is making you curious about therapy, and what is holding you back from beginning therapy.
